Belfast Christmas Lunch 2011

BBS members from all over Ireland came together on Saturday 10th December 2011 for a festive lunch and some fun at the La Mon Hotel in Belfast. The day got off to a great start with entertainment by a local magician, enjoyed by kids and their parents alike. We then had a beautifully prepared lunch followed by an update from BBS Support Worker Jill Murdoch.

Guest of honour - Santa Claus then took time out his busy schedule to come along and give each of the children a small gift.

The day was rounded off nicely with young BBS member Ciaran McAleer presenting Jill and BBS Ambassador Lesley-Ann Starrett with a cheque for a massive £4673.00 raised by a team of runners who took part in the Dublin Marathon in October 2011 in support of the Brittle Bone Society. A huge thank you to all of the runners - Jenny Kavanagh, Edele Muldoon, Rory Convery, Tanya Kelly, Maeve Higgins, Martina Kavanagh, Declan Faulkner, Celine McGirr, Christopher McGirr and Frankie Lavelle.
