Trainee Opportunities
104 Films are going to be looking for some deaf & disabled trainees to take onto their next feature film project and will soon be recruiting trainees in the areas of:
- Directing
- Camera
- Production
- Sound
- Art Dept
- Make up / Costume
Please email Michelle Eastwood (michelle@104films.com) if you're interested in any of the positions above with a CV and a very short paragraph on your past experience and why you'd like to be a trainee in this department. They’re looking for one trainee in each of the roles above who has some experience in this or a related area of film-making and are also looking for a further 8 less experienced trainees to take part in the workshop element of the training. At this point they don't have the funding confirmed so are just looking for people to show an interest. The dates are also to be confirmed, but trainees will take part in a 1 day workshop covering the detail of how people work on set and any specifics about the job role, then, those selected for the traineeships above will be on-set for a week (likely to be the last week in February/first week in March) and then you'll have a final workshop. There will be a bursary for selected trainees and accommodation in and travel to Birmingham will be provided.
