REGIONAL MEETINGS 2008

 

London Regional Meeting Coram’s Fields

Sunday 27th April 2008, 11.00am – 2.00pm

 

Drop-In, All Welcome

 We would like to invite you to a family day at Coram’s Fields in London for a chance to meet to share stories, experiences and information with others who have Osteogenesis Imperfecta.  Feel free to bring along friends and relatives.

 I will be there and Chris Clark Occupational Therapist from Great Ormond Street, who you may already know, will be coming along too.

As there is not set programme, please feel free to drop-in at any time between 1100am and 2.00pm and stay for as long as possible.  If you know of others who may be interested please ask them to get in touch.

There is no cost to you for attending.  Tea/coffee/juice will be available.

Belfast Meeting

Sunday 18th May 2008, Ramada Belfast

The Brittle Bone Society is coming to Belfast!  If you are interested in coming along to our meeting, contact Karen.

Dr Faisal Ahmed who is a Paediatric Endocrinologist & Bone Metabolic Consultant at Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow has kindly agreed to come to Belfast to give a talk on Bisphosphonates and there use in OI.

If you have never been to a meeting before, they are friendly and informal, with the chance to meet and speak with others who have OI.  If you know of anyone who might like to go but has not received an invitation, please just ask them to get in touch.  All are welcome.

Manchester Regional Meeting

28th June 2008

 

We are having a regional meeting in Manchester.  We would love it if you could come along.  The day is for adults and children with OI, families and friends are always welcome. 

 Dr Mughal from St Mary’s children’s hospital is coming along to give a talk on Bisphosphonates.  Further details are still to be arranged.
