Adventure at Calvert Trust Devon: A Weekend to Remember
From Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th October, participants gathered at the Calvert Trust Devon for an unforgettable outdoor experience set in the heart of Exmoor National Park. The event welcomed people of all ages and abilities, offering a unique blend of adventure, relaxation, and connection with nature.
Guests took part in a wide range of inclusive activities – from zip-lining and abseiling to archery, bushcraft, and horse-riding. The swimming pool provided a peaceful retreat, while the fully accessible facilities and expert staff ensured everyone felt safe and supported to explore at their own pace.
For many living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, the weekend offered a rare opportunity to truly switch off and enjoy the outdoors without barriers. The calm, welcoming environment of Calvert Trust Devon created space for fun, joy, and shared moments – whether gliding along the zip line or horse riding through Exmoor National Park.
With thoughtful activities and a deeply inclusive atmosphere, the weekend became more than the sum of its parts – it became a space where people could have new experiences, connect with others, and make lasting memories.
