OI Can Outdoor Activity weekend 2026
Calvert Kielder – Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May
The OI Can Outdoor Activity Weekend is a much‑loved annual event created especially for individuals and families living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). In May 2026, we’re thrilled to bring this uplifting experience to the fully accessible Calvert Trust in the stunning Kielder Water and Forest Park, Northumberland.
Looking for a weekend where you can enjoy the outdoors without the usual obstacles? The OI Can Outdoor Activity Weekend at Calvert Trust is designed so you can try new activities, meet others who get it, and enjoy time with your family in a fully accessible setting – designed so everyone can take part, feel supported, and have fun.
What you can look forward to
Calvert Trust’s expert instructors and fully accessible facilities make it possible for guests to enjoy a wide range of inclusive activities. Previous weekends have included:
- Adaptive zip lining, abseiling and wall climbing
- Archery, Clay pigeon shooting and bushcraft for all abilities
- Kayaking and water‑based activities with specialist equipment
Every activity is tailored to individual needs, allowing participants to take part at their own pace and comfort level. Families get the chance to simply enjoy being together—sharing laughter, new experiences, and a sense of freedom.
