The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital team who run the multi-disciplinary clinic for adults with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) have set themselves a challenge.
For 30 days starting 6th May, the team will cover the distance from Stanmore to the Brittle Bone Society’s headquarters in Dundee. The 458 miles will be divided by the team who aim to run, walk, cycle or swim just over 90 miles each!
The Team includes consultants Professor Richard Keen and Dr Judith Bubbear, Specialist Registrar Dr Friedi Baldeweg, Physiotherapist Sophie Barlow, and Clinical Nurse Specialist Martyn Dudley.
They are looking forward to increasing awareness of OI and raising funds to support the BBS. More information can be found on their JustGiving Page.
