The Brittle Bone Society wants to take into consideration the views of members and supporters when funding research projects. During our Annual Family Conference in Dundee in August 2018, we had an excellent workshop which focused on the research projects you want to see done in the field of OI. We received great suggestions and ideas, and to formalise the research direction you want, we conducted a research survey.
From this survey, we found that the research area of greatest importance to our members and supporters is pain management. Other research areas of key importance include fractures, fatigue, and quality of life. To see all the findings from our research consultation, download the Research Consultation Report or read the Issuu below.
