Penny and Coreen Attend ResearchTogether Event

back

Penny Clapcott, BBS SAB member, and Coreen Kelday, BBS Support Development Officer, attended the ResearchTogether event in Birmingham, which focused on bringing together patients, researchers, clinicians, carers and charities to discuss recent research advancements and ways to improve future healthcare research.

Penny and Coreen had the opportunity to participate in workshops involving conversation around Bone and Joint damage and Healthcare advancements.  The BBS also held an information stand and got involved in discussions about the work of the BBS and our involvement with research and PPI.

Delegates included PhD students and researchers from University of Birmingham, Aston University, University of Glasgow and CÚRAM – Science Foundation Ireland.

The invitation was the result of earlier collaborations with the University of Glasgow and helps us continue with our programme of speaking to more healthcare professionals in educational settings.
