We wanted to share our apologies for the delay in announcing this year’s winning entrant. There had been an unavoidable setback in sharing the latest – but we are really pleased we can now present the winning entry.
Rosemary Haddock from Co. Armagh in Northern Ireland was chosen as our 2024 winner and submitted her entry about embarking on her own adventure with her family whilst experiencing a ‘first’ in being fully dependent on her wheelchair. A welcome boost to spend quality time with her grandchildren.
Rosemary was delighted to win and said ‘’The Gareth Cumming grant award would definitely give me a totally new adventure and prove to me & my family that I can still travel and experience new things’’.
Commiserations to the other entrants all of whom were worthy applicants – we encourage them to apply again and hope we get more of you submitting entries again next year.
